Our 3rd Annual Project Thanksgiving is here!

This year Ignite the hearts is launching it's 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Box of Love event. Box of love is a community effort to provide food care packages to families in need. Our project runs monthly and also provides special seasonal gifts throughout the year. Our team donates these supplies to local churches, shelters, and to families in need. Many of our boxes are decorated by volunteers and contain empowering/ motivational messages.

IGNITE THE HEARTS BOX OF LOVE MOVEMENT

This year ignite the hearts has a great box of love events for you, your friends, and the family. Best part! It only takes 5 steps. Let me show you.

  • Step 1: collect a recycled medium-sized box or purchase a medium-sized box at your local store.
  • Step 2: gather your friends and family for a fun time of arts and crafts. Make sure to paint on your box ignite the hearts or #ignitethehearts
  • Step 3: purchase a thanksgiving dinner or the items listed below.
  • Step 4: place the meal in the box and take a picture using #ignitethehearts.  Then nominate 3 people to also join the movement.
  • Step 5: give your box to a family in need. If you don’t know of a family you can give your box to a local transitional housing shelter or a local church.

This thanksgiving let’s ignite some hearts and inspire others to pay it forward.

Each Thanksgiving Box of Love Contains:

Boxes will be delivered to all families on November 26th, 2019.

  • 1 Young Turkey Breast
  • 2 Canned Corn
  • 2 Canned Peas
  • 1 Box Mash Potatoes
  • 1 Can Cranberry Sauce
  • Apple Cider or Juice
  • 1 Can of Gravy
  • 1 Box of Stuffing
  • 2 Apple or Pumpkin Pie (Walmart Mini Pies)
  • 1 Turkey Baking Pan
  • 1 Roll Aluminum Foil
