Man finishes third Edinburgh Kiltwalk for homeless charity despite battling cancer
This inspiring report shares the story of a man named Kevin Robinson. Battling a rare form of
abdominal cancer, he fought through significant pain to raise money for the homeless.
Explaining his reasons for taking on the challenge, he said: “It’s charity that has struck a chord with me. So, for the past couple of years, I’ve completed the Kiltwalk despite some challenging medical conditions. The Grassmarket Community Project provide lonely, isolated and vulnerable people with a central focus where they can not only receive mentoring, training and education in a nurturing environment, but the project develops skills which enable participants to develop to their full potential and create more positive life opportunities.”
